Any good epp 3d planes out there?

Let's start out by saying I'm in the market for an epp or similar type foam 3d slow flyer. I was watching some OLD FT videos and the Tech One Angle review got me hooked! I gota have one!! So I know that the Tech One Angle is a little old and out dated. And as I got to looking around, I've noticed there's not a huge market for em out there. Horizons choices were bleak at best, motionrc was sold out of everything, and hobby kings website is agonizingly slooowww.

So let me start out by laying down what I'm interested in first. Im not to keen on the profile planes. I want my electronics hidden away in a fuselage or like the Angel, 'fuselage like' compartment. I will plan to fly outside, so nothing small, preferably anywhere from 700-1200mm wingspan, roughly. I did find this on Hobby King that I like https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyki...shBe3H6MYjA1QpSMetwzKn4AO98aV9pRoC3p4QAvD_BwE but it has no electronics and don't really want a project. Id prefer minimal construction. Basically plug and play or bind n fly (Spektrum). I LOVE the look of the yak and edge style planes. And to make matters worse, I don't want to spend an arm and leg. Under $150 is good, under $100 is better 😬.
Anyone have any recommendations?

I went through this last year. I ended up pickig up the MX2 that you have linked, late last fall. Have not assembled it, but it looks fairly easy to put together and fly. There's not too much to the electronics. All is available on HK. I currently fly a visionaire most of the time, but also have an older sbach, as well as several others. Got this one to try something a little lighter to do more 3d, than aerobatic or speed.

Ill look into getting electronics for it but I'd really rather have a bnf or arf. I've noticed 98% of what's out there in the way of light weight 3d planes are all profile planes...

I found the same thing, and thought that the MX2 was more than a profile, but was still small and durable for outdoor flight.
Going to get it built and give it try this spring, as soon as the weather breaks.

Does it come with everything you need except electronics? Does it come with firewall, control horns and wires?

I believe it comes with everything but the motor/esc, 4 servos, and radio equipment.
I opened the box, pulled a couple of the larger pieces out to check quality (which looked good for what it is), and put it away. Didn't want to build it, then have it sitting around all winter to get hanger rash before I could get to fly it.
I don't remember which motor I purchased to put in it, but it was one of the suggested power units, and then the MG high torque servos.

It is going to be a little difficult to find a EPP PNP these are not everything you are looking for but fly great easy to put together. I have 3 of these and they are a blast to fly for $25 and $60 roughly for electronics they are a great deal..

These are not EPP but EPO PNP cannot vouch for how they fly but the price is where you are looking.

Directions and information on the Valuehobby $25 EPP planes.

If you go this route do not use super glue as it is to brittle.

Most of those value hobby planes I see are profile planes. I did see one at the end of the last page but it was out of stock. I'm looking for something with some sort of in-closed fuselage to hide the electronics in.
There's a couple Techone 3d planes I like a lot but they are out of stock everywhere including Motion RC, one website I looked at said they were discontinued... Is Techone no longer a thing?

So I contacted Motion RC and the rep said that Techone RC is going under restructuring and the planes are unavailable for the time being with no known date of when they'd be available again. Ugh...
Doing some more research and what not I think I'm leaning towards the HK-MX2. It's got really good reviews, the flight videos look great, and being able to pick my own electronics has it's advantage.

I'm really looking for a fairly slow flying easy to repair/doesn't break easily 3d plane. The church next to my house has an ok field to fly slower/smaller planes in and I feel like I could fly a lot more if I had a good 3d trainer. Most of my FT planes are a little too big/fast for that field. I am dreading the discussion I'll have to have with the wife as to why I'm getting another plane... Lol

Well, the MX2 is out of the question. It's not available at the US warehouse and shipping is $52 from the international warehouse. Costs more to ship than it does for the actual plane. Back to square one... I'm seeing a bunch on banggood that look awesome but I hesitate to buy anything especially planes from there...
