Let's start out by saying I'm in the market for an epp or similar type foam 3d slow flyer. I was watching some OLD FT videos and the Tech One Angle review got me hooked! I gota have one!! So I know that the Tech One Angle is a little old and out dated. And as I got to looking around, I've noticed there's not a huge market for em out there. Horizons choices were bleak at best, motionrc was sold out of everything, and hobby kings website is agonizingly slooowww.
So let me start out by laying down what I'm interested in first. Im not to keen on the profile planes. I want my electronics hidden away in a fuselage or like the Angel, 'fuselage like' compartment. I will plan to fly outside, so nothing small, preferably anywhere from 700-1200mm wingspan, roughly. I did find this on Hobby King that I like https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyki...shBe3H6MYjA1QpSMetwzKn4AO98aV9pRoC3p4QAvD_BwE but it has no electronics and don't really want a project. Id prefer minimal construction. Basically plug and play or bind n fly (Spektrum). I LOVE the look of the yak and edge style planes. And to make matters worse, I don't want to spend an arm and leg. Under $150 is good, under $100 is better 😬.
Anyone have any recommendations?
