Yo guys, my FT EZ Power Pack doesn't work! 🥺 It always yaws left (or was it right) for no absolute reason. On tests, it works fine, but when I actually put it on a plane, well. Nope. ...
Have you flown an EZ plane successfully before?
What EZ plane are you trying to fly? FT kit? Community design? Your design?
If you reduce the throttle to zero, the EZ planes will not fly. The motors/props are the gyro.
The board MUST be installed in a specific way. Vertically, with the LED down and battery plug forward.
Motors MUST also be installed in the correct orientation, with the props in the correct orientation.

In a static test, with motors running a bit, when you yaw the plane left it should increase the left motor to try to correct it to the right. Does this happen for you?

Working on a FT22. Just did polyurethane last night so I'll let this sit for another day or more before assembly and some vinyl and paint. I had to do it again, but full size this time. I'm missing my mini Raptor after it got shredded on a vineyard trellis awhile back.
1mm x 3mm carbon bedded in the wing.
Would like to add FPV if the CG will allow it.

Not many cheap kits around. Look at Brodak, wide assortment.

But from what I've seen of your ability, go straight to plans and cut out your own. An excellent first kit, because of the EXTREMELY detailed instructions, is the original 40" Lazy Bee. The ribs and parts are huge and forgiving to cut out, compared to other designs, useful if you are new to Exacto #11s cutting balsa. Should be able to pickup all the required balsa at Hobby Lobby, and even with today's prices, total amount is very small for that plane.

If interested, go to this site (I love Outerzone!!!), and download the plans and all supplements.
Hello, I recently found Outerzone and found a plane I have been looking for for a long time. I have never built a plane scratch built from just a set of plans, and the plans don't have dimensions on them. And when I go to a print shop to have them printed out, how do I know what size to print out the plans so I can build the plane on top of the plans? In the name of the plans it tells the wing length, but when I look at the plans there aren't much else for dimensions, so zip have no idea what to do or what size to print out the full size plans at the print shop. Any ideas?

Do the plans have a scale on them? If not, look for NOTES about size or scale. Many plans are designed to be actual size.
Which plan? Can you provide a link, please?

You probably have the props and in wrong motors...try holding it in mid air and see if it tries to push back and keep it straight when you yaw it quickly.(y)
The props are going the right way. In tests, it goes straight, it's not spinning like crazy. But when I put it airborne, yeah, it HAS to be balance

To help you, we need the following info to understand what your problem is.
If the plane ready to fly weighs above 70 grams, chances are poor it will fly.
What is your weight?

So do the following:
1) Take pics of top, side, front view of your bird.
2) Tell me which motor has what prop on it.
3) Where is CG.
4) Show video of you flying it.

How this plane is to fly is based on this:

At half throttle, you release it and it should fly level and straight forward.
If you increase throttle, it will climb.
If you back off throttle less than half, it will descend. Do not shut engine off until it is about ready to land.
To make turn, the rudder has a low and high rate. Select what is best for you.

Note:
When throttle is at zero or at the top and your add rudder, your plane will go crazy. If at bottom, will likely crash, at top, does some funky flying and tough to get control of.
