Anybody else scratch building tonight?

Not a scratch build, but I just finished a quicky MS Corsair to go out and beat up. I did the detachable wing mod plus some 3D printed add-ons, but spent the most time taping off the tail for the checkerboard pattern. The rockets are held on by magnets are just for show- I don't think they would survive a belly landing. The canopy is from a Dynam Corsair and is just a hair too big- it sort of reminds me of one of those cartoon warbird designs that are so popular right now.

That is absolutely peak. Even out of the FT kit, it's still a masterpiece

Thanks! Its the original Overstreet design. Somewhere else on the forum someone shared the link to Pacon Water-Resistant Foamboard, which is what this one is made from. I can get free shipping in the PNW and I think it's better foamboard than the white Maker Foam stuff from FT.

So I found a wing from a guinea pig today. I had completely forgotten about it since FF24 when I had found it in the trash. I have previously tried to make it an asymmetric style airplane, but it was a little too asymmetric. What do you guys think?

This was made in 2024. I still have all the pieces.

I don't think its worth making a whole thread for this but has anyone build an arduino controlled hot wire cutter? Or could point me to someone who has? Thanks

PS. I'm surprised this thread isn't that active anymore

Are you looking to Arduino for temp control or CNC movement? If for temp, a simple pot will do the trick.

Um, do ya'll know how to set up twin motor (and maybe differential thrust if possible) with the DX6 transmitter? I'm just switching my Xfly F-22 twin 40mm's receiver from FlySky to Spektrum so I can make it stand wind better with AS3X and have a timer integrated into the transmitter.
