Help! APM 2.5 (Wont arm and No GPS)

Hey guys,

I have problems getting my Ardupilot 2.5 up and running, I did watch a couple videos about troubleshooting APM, wired everything according to this FliteTest episode:

Both red lights do blink on the apm BUT NO LIGHTS ON THE GPS.

Looks like the wiring to your GPS is incorrect and you have GPS set as a prerequisite for arming. IE: GPS: NO GPS

Point 1: How can the wiring be incorrect if its the same as Flitetest ?

Point 2: the GPS is dead,(out of the box)is that even a possibility ?

Point3: the wiring on the RCTimer 2.5 Arduflyer is different (but I dont think thats the case), that way i fried the GPS.
