Hi. Has anyone got or tried the Ardupilot mega 2.8? I am still learning to set it up with the Mission Planner software. Does this version (2.8) have a built in compass? There is practically no info on this version. The reason I ask is because I am trying to use an external compass with GPS.
UPDATE! Just seen a video on youtube and it shows how to set it up for external compass. There is a jumper that has to be removed on the Ardupilot mega 2.8 in order to let the external compass operate, it just pops out. The 2.5 board needs the connection on the board to be cut for external compass to work but the 2.8 is much more simple with the pop out jumper. Hope this information is helpful to anyone with an Ardupilot mega 2.8.
