The slow blinking RX light on ORX is typically "brownout detect" -- it's the RX's way of saying I've lost power since the last time the TX cycled power. The flipside version is the "drop detect" which is the red blinking light, meaning the RX has lost connection (power-cycling the TX will do this). It's a fun stupid trick ORX's will do and handy in spotting why an airframe got shot down -- brownout or drop.

Between the 2.1.5 and Mini versions, they remapped the pins.

In the 2.1.5, the channel order went AETR1 from top to bottom. understandably, to shrink everything stuff moved around . . . but they also changed the channel order to TAER1 from bottom to top.

Steveis's ROM expects the PPM data to come in on input 1, which on a 2.1.5 board is the aileron channel. on the mini, it's still the aileron channel, but it's now the forth pin, not the third.

The easiest way to fix this:

- remove the signal wire from the KK2Mini side connector.
- using a SMALL heatshrink, cover the metal portion of the plug you've removed, flush with the end. shrink it down
- plug the connector as you have, plug the newly separated signal wire into the next pin after the connector.

That should get you up and running :)

Ok, yeah, the yellow blinking does look weird. where I've seen it in past it was a solid blink like your red one not the stuttery blink.

Two "obvious" things to check:

- did you pick CPPM in the menus?
- have you tried flipping over the 3-pin connector on the RX?

I looks right, but it's the obvious things that are the hardest to find.

Otherwise . . . do you happen to have a standard RX you can borrow?

It won't burn out the CPPM channel -- all it will do is ground it. That being said, your RX, your call. I saw the same pinouts and those seem right . . . but . . . wouldn't be the first time ORX did something wierd and poorly documented it.

It's possible the individual channels work but the CPPM does not . . . but you need something to read the channel to know if it's really working.

I have only tried the cppm, S-bus and satellite options with RC911s AiO sw on my KK minis. He uses the throttle input for cppm, and S-bus, signal in his sw so that you don´t need to split the connector. Maybe try to flash his latest on the board just to test?

When you tried the board on S-bus with the R620 did you use an ordinary lead? The KK needs an adapter cable for use with S-bus, like this one
