My Atom RC Swordfish had it's maiden and it was a bit nerve wracking, not what I expected that's for sure. Very windy plus a totally overcooked rudder mix didn't help. My first V tail and possibly my last. Flight two was a bit better after some tweaking and turning off rudder mix completely! Build blog from basic kit is on my channel. No mention of throws and manual not worth the paper it's written on as most reviewers have said.
Anyway, check out the maiden. It's a great looking plane and no doubt next time will be a bit less stressful. 😳
