Aura 5 not recognizing Radiomaster R81v2

My receiver is bound to my plane but the aura just keeps blinking like it can’t find it. I can’t move any surfaces. Any ideas?

Have you checked the radio configuration in the Aura configurator? Maybe it isn't set to autodetect, and/or the wrong protocol is selected. Post a picture showing how the reciever is connected to the aura.

Yes you can. By default it should autodetect.

I would use the Aura configurator and set the connection type AND check the firmware on the Aura. It must be Ver 1.14 or newer. I normally use the Spektrum SPM4650 SRXL2 Receiver. I made the short cable to plug into the Aura. There is a FT video on how to do this. The wire colors DO NOT MATCH!

If your plane has the prop installed remove it before trying to fix this.

Edit: I realized that I missed something important! To bind the receiver, you must press the bind button WHILE you apply power to the Aura. This requires at least three hands.

THEN start the bind process for your transmitter.

That receiver is a great deal if it works. Please post a reply if you get it working and share details of how you got it working!
