Aura 5 throttle disabled

I just purchased an Aura 5 and am in the process of setting it up. I have a Spektrum DX6 on the latest firmware 2.11. I am using a SPM4650 SRLX2 serial micro receiver. I have bound the receiver, all servos work. I have the mode switch working, It changes in the aura config tool when I flip the switch. but the throttle does not work. I have the ESC plugged into port 1. When I plug in the battery the ESC only beeps once. I put a servo in place of the ESC and powered the aura through a different port and the servo moves to and holds at a certain position, but does not change when I move the throttle. In the Aura config tool it says throttle is disarmed and to re arm. I re arm till the cows come home but it never arms. I tried with the trim down and even changed the throttle servo output to 125%.

Arming usually isn't needed unless the throttle is not all the way down. Make sure the throttle trim is not up.

You could also use the configurator to calibrate the aura to the radio.

I tried it with the throttle trim all the way down, it said -125 in the configurator and no go. I upped the throttle endpoints to 125 and with the throttle trim all the way down it said -146 in the configurator, still no go. I also tried with the throttle reversed, no go. I just tried the "learn transmitter" in the configurator as you suggested and that did nothing. What factors determine if it needs to be armed other than throttle position? You say arming usually is not needed unless the throttle is not all the way down. What do you have to do to arm? Are there specific stick movements like Betaflight? I have the quick start, but is there an actual manual? It says nothing about arming in the quick start. There is a link on the website for quick start and instructions, but it only links to the quick start.

Thanks!!!

Did you calibrate the ESC ? What does the transmitter channel graph show for throttle movement? Is the throttle reversed?

The ESC works fine on a different receiver. The throttle works fine on the monitor. I did end up fixing it by selecting convert Aura and reloading the Flite Test set up. Now it says armed and works fine. I guess something was corrupt. Thanks to everyone for your help!

Late to the party... I leave the throttle limits at -100 (off) to +100 (full). The three flight surfaces I set at -125 to +125.

You may need to set the Throttle limits in the esc. REMOVE PROP! Move throttle to high position and power on plane. After a few seconds several beeps. Move throttle to low. More beeps. Turn off plane and transmitter. Done.
