Dude, Nic. lets put a build video together. Wouldnt be too hard, i believe i have the space and the gear to pull it off. Lets make it happen!

I went out to maiden the Bucker tonight after work and all of the parks were full of people. Soccer, baseball and football all at the same time. Don't these people realize I have important things to do? Get your kids off of my flight line. 
Since I can't fly, I'll be painting. I had said pale yellow, but I'm thinking every so slightly warm yellow. Something more inviting than the harsh pale yellow.

That's hardcore. I just couldn't maiden it over the children's heads. Maybe I'm too old and cautious. haha.
Updated page 15 with the paint. I might as well go all out and paint the panel lines. Some dark brown/black in the cockpit seats would really make that yellow shine, too.

Thanks! I may try the maiden again this evening. If I can't find a free park I'll likely end up painting on all of the seam lines and the cockpit to give it a more scale look. Actually, I'll be doing that anyway.

Progress pic added to page 15. Still no maiden... Maybe I'll get lucky with the weather this weekend.
The lines add a lot of dimension to the look, I like it!

The trick is knowing when to stop adding lines. Maybe just a few more.
I was starting to wonder the same thing about Coleman. I did some investigative work and according to his profile it seems he hasn't been on the forum since 8/1. I suppose he could be busy with life outside of r/c.

I have an announcement to make. The nnBuckerBu180 maidened beautifully today. I tried to take video but I was alone so I only got about 5-10 seconds of usable footage out of 10 minutes of video.
I took your advice and eyeballed in some aileron washout. I feel like I nailed it first try. It rolled steadily (and fast).
Things I love about it:
- Great roll rate.
- No tip stalls.
- Looks awesome in the air.
- Man, can it dive!
- Stable.
- Fast.
- Flies to what I imagine would be scale for this plane.
I really enjoyed the way it performs in a Split-S. When you roll 180 and kill the throttle, it noses straight down and slowly levels off as it picks up speed with no input. I'll get more video as soon as I get someone to take video for me.
I came in a little hot on my first landing and knocked a windshield loose. I pulled it off so it wouldn't fall off in flight. I was careful to land directly into the wind for my second landing and flared nicely before sliding softly across the grass. Here she is!
I think I want to add some red on the bottom so I can stay oriented. I was a little unsure at times where I was heading.

Awesome! She looks great and I'm glad you enjoy your first flight. Definitely grab a video if you can, also, what electronics are you using?

I'm uploading what little terrible footage I have just so you can catch a couple of glimpses in the air. Listen to that trimming. I'd suggest 720p and Fullscreen if you want to see anything.
I had my iphone strapped to the back of my transmitter. My aim was a little off most of the time.Electronics are as follows:
- Motor: Suppo 2217/7 1250kv
- ESC: Suppo 30A ESC
- Servos: Suppo SP-90
- Prop: APC 9x4.7SF (A little slow for my tastes. Going up to 9x6 for next flight)
- Transmitter: Spektrum DX5e
- Receiver: AR600

I put the front windshield back on and took the nnBucker out to the park again today. I didn't take any pictures or video, I wanted to just enjoy flying and that's exactly what I did.
I put the 9x6SF prop on it. It flew beautifully but my ESC just can't handle it. The ESC shut down in less than 2 minutes using a steady 50-60% throttle. I was really high and coasted down for a while then it kicked on again, flew another 15-20 seconds before shutting down again. I landed it and switched back to the 9x4.7SF. I flew out the rest of that battery and 1 more. It was a lot of fun.
I think the 9x4.7 gives you a more scale feeling for a plane that only had a 99mph cruise speed and 109mph max speed with its little 4 cylinder engine. It actually cruises nice and slow up wind then banks down wind and speeds off when you want to get moving. I did some loops, rolls, flew inverted and a long diving split-S from 100 feet up or more. I had to hold some down elevator to keep it in a dive, otherwise it levels off on its own (which isn't a bad thing).
Its just a fun plane. I'm loving it. Some kids at the park liked it, too. They asked, "Where did you get that?" I said, "I made it." "WHOAAAAAHHHH! Cool!" haha
I am going to paint some red on the underside of the wings and h-stab, partly to keep orientation and partly because its going to look great.
