B25 Nose gear

I guess I'll answer my own question. I found a Dubro half A steerable nose gear on Ebay. My concern was that it would be too high inside the nose of the FT B-25 Mitchell bomber. I could raise up the tongue that holds the nose on and mounts the battery. I found a .50-1.20 size steerable tail wheel assembly on Amazon for around ten bucks. The wire is smaller than the FT 2.5 mm landing gear. I sleeved the axle with heat shrink tubing. I sandwiched the Fuselage foam board with 2 pieces of 3/32 ply. That's what I had. The inside piece mounts an old Airtronics "small" servo. I CYA'd it on its side to the inner piece of ply. It hooks to the modified nose gear steering arm through a aileron ball linkage. That keeps it low profile. It looks like it will work ok. I'm in PA right now. I'll be in warm SC late next month where I will finish the B-25. The wing and fuse are already done. I'll try to post a wrap up when I fly it.
