Help! Baby Bugatti 24" plane hatch assembly and suitable motor?

Hello all, in the process of building this Baby Bugatti 24 inch wing spanrc plane, I have a query.
1)Where and how do this two parts (hatches) assemble on to the plane.
please help.
2)Is the two hatches geometry (shown in the image) as per plans.
because I am not sure about the interface.
3)can we use Readytosky RS2205-2300kV motor with 5inch propeller with 2S 850mAh.
4) can we use A2212 2200kV motor with 5inch propeller?

Does the build thread not explain installing the top hatch? https://forum.flitetest.com/index.php?threads/baby-bugatti.33181/

Plugged similar motors into eCalc real quick and it looks like either one should work fine with that battery and the recommended 5x5 prop. Just keep an eye on weight and balance, because those motors are a little bigger/heavier than the recommended 1806 motor. Make sure the CG is correct and it should be ok.

That build thread does not have information about this 24inch wing span plane. Moreover this plane has additionally different new parts compared to the version 1 plane, and also could you provide information on how to use this ecalc?

Can we use just the elevators as v-tail for pitch and yaw, and instead of the wing's ailerons? Is it safe for this plane?

I have not built this plane myself, so hopefully @Mid7night will chime in here.
That said, I'm looking at the 24" plans and the 20" plans side by side, and almost every single piece is identical between the two. They should build very similarly.
I found a good view of the top and hatch of the 24" version from Ben's flight testing video.
Hopefully it helps.

.

eCalc, specifically propCalc is a website where you can plug in information about your airplane and figure out what motor, prop, ESC, and battery will work for you. https://www.ecalc.ch/motorcalc.php You can access a limited selection of motors and ESCs using the free version, but there is also a paid version with a large selection of motors, props, and ESCs. I find it to be a very useful tool when scratch building. They also have a CG calculator which can be pretty handy.

The Baby Bugatti really needs ailerons to turn well, as does the vast majority of all low wing models with no significant dihedral.

Hello all,
The maiden was a success. But,the flight lasted only for 20secs, because there was suddenly no power going to motor even under full throttle, and the plane slowly went down and landed.

The following were the observations after landing:
1)ESC was found to be very hot.
2) Just before landing,heard a beep sound.

The following were the hardware:
1)A2212 2200kV motor
2)Simonk 30A ESC
3) 3S 1500mAh Lipo
4) 6inch tri-blade ABS propeller.

I am doubtful and guessing that, the 30A ESC couldn't able to power the motor with triblade 6inch propeller.

Requesting your suggestions.

1. That's exactly what happened.
2. Did you buy that off of amazon?
3. If you did, get a 40a esc instead.

As far as cheap amazon products go. 30a is actually 20a, 40a is actually 35a (from my experience) or, 40a is actually 40a. Once you hit 50a they begin to look like bricks.

Installed 40A ReadytoSky ESC and it performed superbly. Maidened it completely for the entire flight time using 3S 1500mAh LiPo. Thanks a lot.
Can we use 5inch propeller on A2212 2200kV motor with 40A ESC, with 2S and 3S LiPo?
