I know it's a hard sell when first getting into the hobby, but the two things to spend money on is your transmitter, and the charger.

Those are the two items that you use EVERY time you fly. A bad charger can ruin your entire battery supply. Which makes a cheap charger very expensive.

Fortunately the price for good transmitters have been coming down. Chargers, not so much.

The Toolkit and ISDT chargers are awesome, but require an external power supply. You can shop around and find some that are more budget friendly than others. But the charger itself, I'd suggest spending the little extra and getting a quality one that will save you in the long run.
