I'm hoping the Eaglet 250 gets released soon because the way money has been flying out of my bank account in the last two weeks for unexpected expenses there may not be anything left in the budget for a kit and motor even with the veterans discount.

Before the Eaglet 250 was hinted at I was probably a day or so from taking my Eaglet 50 plans down and having them enlarged to scratch build an Eagle 63. The '63 will be built at some point but the little Eaglet 250 has me more excited. It'll look great next to my all balsa built E powered Eaglet 50. The 250 will be done up in Thunderbirds theme too. Strange for an ex sailor but I think Thunderbirds theme looks much better than Blue Angels.

So that's an Eaglet. I like it a lot! Then I saw you mentioned a possible Ranger 30, one of my favorite airplanes of all time. I've built several of them from foam board. It's a free-flight design that converts to RC very well:
Carl Goldberg Ranger 30 and FTFC20 Ranger 30



I'm holding off on my order because I'd rather wait for one of those two kits to become available. I've been wanting to build another balsa Ranger 30 but an Eaglet will do just fine, thank you.

A little update... J3 Cub - 250 kit parts are being cut! We've extended battery tray to include servo tray. Should make things even easier and quicker for you! (Fuselage top and bottom were left off so you could get a better view of the inside)
