Battery help!

Hello, i am in need of a new battery for a glo plane, the old battery is a NiCd 4 cell 500 mAh 4.8v (the volts might be off a little) i would like a new battery, since mine is shot and a new battery of the same kind (Futaba p-pack nr-4qb) is $20 and i dont have that kind of money for a battery.
What would be a good substitute? It will have to have the same kind of plug as the old one because im using the same reviever, thanks a lot!

Get the new low discharge enelop or equivalent battery. Today you will get something like 2000 mAh NiMh and not 500-600 NiCd.

I guess that it will be yours under 10 dollars but expect some weeks delivery.

I'd go more than a 500mah RX battery. Go with one with the capacity of the first one pgerts linked.

If all of the old servos in that plane can handle 6.0v then go with this battery. You'll be able to fly all weekend without charging. And it's in the USA warehouse.
