It's all in the title. I think I paid like $35 for my 6 ch spektrum, are there better options?

It depends. I have use the Lemon RX and OrangeRX receivers, and they're significantly cheaper than the Spektrum brand receivers. That said, I have had issues with the OrangeRX receivers not being what they're promised. Some of the early 615 models were DSM2, despite being labeled as DSMX, so I've been a little gun shy with buying more. That, and I have to deal with HobbyKing, with whom I have other issues with their shipping and stocking in their warehouses.

I like the Lemon RX ones, but diversity antenna versions rather than the most basic 6ch (although they're fine for park flyers).

I have used both Orange and Lemon. I had issues with the Orange not binding and dropping out. The Lemon has been solid enough that I have purchased more for my builds that I’m less worried about something happening. I’m saving my genuine rx’s for builds like the Master Series P-38 when I get to it.

Yep, I'm having some trouble with hobby king. I just got the Tundra from @BS projects inc., I needed some parts for it but HK is out of stock of ALL tundra parts! I also asked a product specialist about a motor that will fit the tundra motor mount(the original motor was out of stock of course). He recommended one to me so I bought it. Guess what, IT DOESN'T FIT!!!

The biggest problem with them right now is trying to GET them. i've got 2 on order from about a month ago, and they still haven't shipped; the issue is that air flights out of China right now are stopped up due to COVID-19. I get it; I'm not upset, but there's a definite delay on ordering from them, and because of that, it also means any U.S. based suppliers are going to be hard pressed to get any in stock anytime soon.

The “storm” recievers from valuehobbies are pretty good and not too expensive. They ship from the US which is a huge plus.

The in house Admiral brand RX units sold by Motion RC are produced by Lemon and ship from here is the US. I have 5 or
6 Admiral RX units and 30 plus Lemons and have zero
Issues with them. Great RCs.

i’m a proponent of the Lemons as well. I Order from BuddyRC, a huge plus that they are local here in town. I like the model with the satellite included, a different, seemingly more physical method of achieving diversity reception.
