Best trainer is ....

I've been away from RC flying for 15 years. I started back again by building and flying the Tiny Trainer. Worked fine to get me back flying. I then built the Simple Scout from plans. OMG what a difference. Hands down a much better flying and more stable airplane than the Tiny Trainer. Just my opinion.

I agree on the fabulosity of the scout, just an excellent all round plane. One that is rarely mentioned, but that I think is in the same class, is the mighty mini DR1. You'd think it would be squirrely but is actually an easy and fun to fly plane.
