Hey everyone,
I've been flying RC fixed-wing planes for decades, but I'm finally stepping into the world of flight controllers. I'm currently installing a **Speedybee F405 Wing** into a **Volantex Ranger 1600**, and I'm using a **BZGNSS BG-251 GPS** unit.
I'd like to mount the GPS on the boom for better signal, but that means I'll need to extend the GPS cable by about **40mm**.
My question is:
**Is it okay to extend the GPS wire by that much?**
And if so, could I use **Dupont connectors**, or would it be better to just **solder the wires directly**?
Appreciate any advice or tips—thanks!
