Big, Beefy 1000 Watt (1.34HP) Spitfire Build

Full throttle I get 12 minutes but if you fly normally you can get easy 20-25 minutes.
I will paint it of caurse, proper camo (airbrush), just had no time yet. When landing I set the prop so that it does not touch the ground - thats not so hard if you use the ESC brakes. But the plan is to put a landing gear on it too so that wont be an issue.

That's a very nice build you did Mark! I love it. What's your flightime with these battery's?
How you're gonna paint it Camo? No problems with the prop landing it? I use folding props.

Very nice build! Are you going to make the canopy out of foam as well, or are you going to use something acrylic and have a cockpit with pilot etc in it?

Ah 1 thing, at the beginning of the video it says 12000mah 6s, however if you put 2x 3s 6000mah batteries in series you get 1 6000mah 6S, not 12000. If you put them in parallel you'll get 1 12000mah 3S battery. You either double the voltage with the same capacity, or you double the capacity with the same voltage :). Or do you really have 12000mah worth of 6s batteries in there now?

Yes got me there. Its 6s with each 3s battery having 6000mAh. So total 6000mah but 6s of course.

Ah this great stuff to read up on.

I'm going to make a 40% increased Spitfire. Only 60" wing as I want to load the plane in the car ;)
