anything can, it just depends on how far you are willing to go and if you have the skills to pull it off. i have converted several old balsa's to electric and all of them fly.

what are your major concerns?

good luck,

me

Why are you calling it a big Betty balsa Bomber?

Not really big, not a Betty (Japanese WWII Bomber by Mitsubishi) , but is is a balsa model and is technically a bomber, albeit a torpedo bomber.

Just curious.

I believe the Betty was a twin engine aircraft, so I agree that this isn't a Betty. (It looks like a Grumman TBF Avenger to me.)

The Betty also was a land-based bomber, as opposed to the Avenger, which mostly flew off of US aircraft carriers.

Can this be converted to electric?
I'd guess yes, but I've never done this with any of my balsa models. It might help if you could let us know what you think the problem(s) might be, since we don't know about anything we can't see in the photo.

Good luck!
