I know people have good luck using the cheap Hobby King iron on covering over foam board due to it's low temperature adhesive. @wilmracer has done a couple planes this style and they look great!

Trick is to keep the iron on low and if you're having trouble getting it to stick mist on some 3m77. You can't cover compound curves as nicely as you can on a balsa or composite build, but if you plan ahead and use relief cuts you can go around most areas. I tend to do a strip along a joint/fillet and then use large pieces for everything else.
All of these models were/are covered with low tempcovering. The big jet was glassed first, but the others are done right on the foam. There are imperfections, but overall they look pretty good.

Well fuse is rolled on. Originally I was going to use the 1mm Depron but I also have sheets of 3mm Selitac which is ribbed on one side, It actually rolls really nice having those ribs compared to other 3mm foam. All part of the experiment, even for designing I found things I would do different next time. Cowl is just taped on for now, motor has to go in first.

Wing is covered . I don't have an iron yet and I did go to the hobby store to look at covering but it is expensive but probably very good quality . This isn't a build that deserves that kind of money being an experiment . Next stock order from HK I will bring some in so for today she just got wing tape. Wing tape doesn't stick very good to XPS foam so we will see how long it stays on the ailerons. I think I will just paint the rest of the plane .

How do you plan on installing the battery for flights?
I have a reinforced spot where I will cut out a bottom hatch, that is the plan anyways,

Thanks, it's not the fanciest but the Baron is a simple so that was why my choice in it to experiment with this thin foam. Being a small guy doesn't leave you much room to build a skinny fuse because you still have to fit a battery in there somewhere. Overall I think it turned out pretty good and I now also have some do's and don'ts when designing for a rolled fuse.

The smooth Bloody Baron get's it's maiden, overall I think it works great and no adverse side affects with the smooth wing with no under camber to it. Speed I definitely think picked up, most of the video I am at 1/2 or less throttle and it is cruising pretty good. In it is the Turnigy 2200kv 6T motor, 40A esc and a 6X4 TGS prop plus a 2200mah 3S battery which is basically what I run in the combat planes other then a 1400kv motor and a 10X5 prop. I did scale the plane along with my other Barons and it is slightly heavier by about 50g , whether that is the 3D printed ribs I don't know . I did have to trim slightly to the left and some down but I didn't angle my motor mount at all so I am sure if I did that probably 0 trim required. Overall though it seems to fly the same as the others.
