Oooh. So from what I can gather the pod is supposed to rest on the c fold and not sit flush with it.
Yes, but this is what I would do. But, that's just me.

Yes. Also, I found that they explain it in the Bloody Baron video, which uses the same fuselage design. Look at 37:00 and he explains the whole thing.

Sa

so from your earlier image I could just cut a slit to make the pod sit flush on the C fold?

Check out the video. I personally recommend following the design. The thrust angle may not be a lot, but likely makes a difference. Also, if you cut that slit, you’re reducing the area that the firewall is glued to the power pod, and that’s a weak area already. It will work either way though, these are just my opinions!

Can I just print your image or is there’s link I can find to get the tiled plans?

In this original pdf, I added the modified pod to the drawings. It is at scale.
It will probably raise the firewall about 4 to 5 mm, and you might need to raise the skewers, as well. It may not be what you want.

My Printer won't allow me to print it as a tiled image. It just has one sheet of the fin gauge and nothing else.

Thanks x1000. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a lot of time.
If you're interested, I made another version of the pod that retains the angle of the original design AND extends the tabs to fully fit into the slots of the fuse. I have not tried it yet. Let me know what you think.
