Blue wonder of mini/Baby Blender

Hi there everybody! I am currently trying to get my dad into the hobby. (Exact opposite as usual, I know) He seemed interested in the baby blender/bi-plane and triplanes. Unfortunately I currently have a blue wonder motor 1300 kv with a 20 amp esc. I am wondering if this setup would work on the baby blender with no landing gear perhaps? In addition I would also like if any mighty minis such as the Dr1 and Se5 will work with the setup. Any help is appreciated!

I can't give any advice on the Baby Blender as I have never built one. As for the Mini-SE5, I built and flew one with the "B-Pack" size motor. It flew OK but with the slower motor, in order to produce some thrust, the prop was too big and it had a lot of torque issues. I then swapped it out for the "F-Pack" and it flew very nicely.

I know the Simple Cub flies well with a Blue Wonder. It is just missing the extra wing..

Thanks a lot! I'll see what my dad thinks about the simple cub. One of my friends has the cub and it looked great.

One last question. Can I run a 10in prop on the blue wonder with a 20 amp esc or will I have to stick with a 9in?

You want to stick with a 9X4.7 with the 1300kv motor. A 10 inch prop would be a bit too much for the Blue Wonder.
