Some friends and I have recently started a RC Flying Club at our university (Cal Poly Pomona) to help bring others to the hobby. We have obtained some funding and have bought an initial set of build tools, electronics, and aircraft. Yet, we still have a wide range of objects needed to help bring others into the hobby.
We are looking for any quad parts that you would be interested in providing, even broken electronics. We currently have multiple build days planned and may do some workshops on soldering. Broken electronics would allow for other students to get used to the kind of soldering that is done on quads, without the worry of screwing it up. Yet, working electronics can go towards building larger quads for us to use on fly days for the club. It would provide us a chance to give students hands on flying experience with these quads.
Finally, I also have an interest in building a 5" or 6" quad that would allow me to get footage of flying days along with do my own flying. I have bought and flown the gremlin along with a tiny whoop. I actually may be able to provide some people with some older tiny whoop parts (Not sure what I have left that works).
