Build a Flying Pirate Ship?

I'd love to see if someone could build a flying pirate ship. A ship like from the movie Treasure Planet or the flying ship from Mario.

As a kid the idea always fascinated me, and it would be awesome and hilariously funny if it worked.

my original thought was a power kit style craft.

I have a similar ship. It'd be fun to turn it into a para-glider by mounting a drone or tricopter setup and use the sails for lift.

Easier to make a zero stagger flat wing triplane . Kites produce more drag than lift
