I ordered and received a Flite Test Mighty Mini Tiny Tutor and Power Pack. This is my first foam board model. I've built quite a few balsa kits over the years. The build video is pretty good, and I've watched it multiple times now, but my wing isn't complete yet, and I have questions. Is this the right place to ask them? Given the variety of topics, I'm not sure.
- How far back do you fold the piece that forms the spar? Does the edge line up with the score mark at the top of the wing? An end picture or view in the video would be handy for people like me who have never even seen a Flite Test plane, much less built dozens or hundreds of them.
- The foam doesn't seem to slice all that well, even with a brand-new knife blade. When I removed my foam from the C-channel and made the bevel cuts, the paper tore completely through in some places. This is likely a technique, but I don't know what to do differently. A close-up still shot of the wing's leading edge might also be a big help here.
