I know on my cheap action cam it floated when it was in the case.....But a real Gopro is a bit heavier I think....

For sure, I once held a hero 4, and it was about 400 grams with case. (Guestimate) My cheap action camera is under 190gm with case.

I lost my GoPro Session 5 kayaking. I can tell you for certain that they and the headband camera mount DO NOT FLOAT. Unfortunately I did not have it teathered, and while I was recoring a blue herron flying over, I tipped my head back far enough that it came off my head and sank in 5 feet of swiftly moving water. Who know how far downstream it was by the time i jumped out to try and rescue it.

Didn't need to be. But they sell back plates with foam for the waterproof cases because no the camera and case will not float without some sort of floatation.

My cheap ones does...But this Gopro will be quite a bit heavier I think.

You ever flown over water with your drone @LitterBug?
yeah, but not a whole lot. It would be toast should it "land" there. I do not have any coating on the electronics to make that safer.

I rarely bump the ground so I just have to tell myself that its OK.....And try my best! lol

There is a small stream that runs along the field, but it is heavily overgrown in most places and not easy to fly in close proximity with anything other than a nano drone. I have "landed" close to it several times, but never gone fishing. LOL

I flew my fpv mini (115%) scout today. Lots of fun!! I flew some crazy sketchy gaps, pics coming soon.
I noticed that when I set my monitor to work with one antennas instead of having it switch between the patch and clover leaf,
it actually was better, it would not cut out as much.
