I have a 25 to 200mw, two 200mw and one 400mw (that I can't figure out how to wire it up) and a 600mw.

Yeah there is a trick to it. I think with a drone it is easier.

FPV Free Rider is good if you don't want a lot of different scenery's and the best part is that it's only $5 vs $20.

I like the JHEMCU 30-800mw VTX it seems pretty well made and is easy to use.

Do you have polarized antennas? that will give you lass static and more range. Also a patch antenna on your monitor will help.

Less range but less interference caused by reflections and non polarized signals.

are the VTX and monitor antennas compatible?
because I have a patch antenna but I'm afraid to use it on my monitor (don't want to burn it because I used the wrong type of antenna).

You won't kill a receiver by using the wrong antenna. The worst that will happen is you could have reduced reception/range if it doesn't match the polarity of the antenna on the transmitter.

You can kill a transmitter by running it with no antenna or shorting it out.
