Today I finally decided on where my servos are going for the elevator and rudder. Im thinking of using nyrod for the push rods but I'm still not sure yet.
Servos arrived too late to do anything with this today but did redo the windshield and finished off wing details. Maiden day in the morning , taking the FT Mustang , Spitfire, Grifflyers L-39 , and my Barracuda Hopefully everybody comes home .
Thinking of ending the otter project for now. It will take a while to build, so in the meantime I’m just going to take the cormorant. I am still planning to do it, just later.
Had a maiden day , only was able to try one out, Barracuda is out of commission for now, more to follow I have to analyze the footage. So put my efforts after that to the Beaver and I usually end up putting vinyl on theses things after I have installed everything and say to myself " why didn't you do this first". So this time I did.
I wanted to do a CH701 for this because it is such a great real plane and I was hoping it could pass on some attributes small scale, but I couldn't stand the looks of it so I used the AOA and Airfoil from the Zenith and made the WeedWacker. I think that the zenith would be a good competitor for the composition, I also think that the Storch is a great idea too, if you are going to do the Storch I would suggest modifying the FT Storch, it seems much simpler than putting together your own.
It's not a spring, it's a threaded rod that goes into the yellow inner push rod, and the adjustable horn came with the servo. Hope this clears that up!
