Bush plane build challenge

I just went out and did the payload challenge! The plane carries 1320 grams and weighs 870 grams so the ratio is 1.52. I have some homework and stuff so it might take a couple days to upload a video. Also, while trying to do the challenge I severely damaged one of my wheels, so I can still make a new set and it will still be ok right? Other than that I have a little more gluing and reinforcing to do since I found a minor crack in the fuselage but that is really it.
Good!
How did it handle?

I just made a parallel connector so I can basically fly my plane off of a 3s 4400. I should be getting 20+ minute flights and lots of landings. Sadly I have to fix my plane before I can do the next part of the challenge though. Maybe next week...

It is late, but I just finished editing and uploading my video!
Great job man. I like the idea of loading up the LG struts, keeps the weight low on the frame to act like a pendulum. I think you got a better ratio then i could. My practice attempts have seen a 1:1 ratio but it was a hard take off and a harder landing.

A very respectable number though, and you fly it like a boss (y)

Thanks! Especially coming from you this actually makes me feel really good! To be honest though loading the struts was just because I ran out of space in the plane, but I like your explanation better lol.

Come to think of it a lot of bush pilots will strap there cargo to the struts, especially on float planes

Cool! I didn't think about making a battery adapter that would give you more flight time. Hope the damage isn't too bad BTW.

I just went out and did my durability challenge. I used 2 2200 3 cells in parallel so I got a 30 minute flight and the packs are still around 20 percent charge. I most likely got over 100 landings, but some estimations say that I did around 120, I will need to watch over the video anyways so I guess I will find out then. It might take a few days to release the video though since it is late and I may or may not have time tomorrow.

Well the Guinea has been put on hold for now, but this brings me to my second entry! (Hopefully I will be able to make atleast one fly before Thanksgiving)
