I’ve got a V2 all worked out that I just need to build here shortly. Once i start working again I’ll buy some servos and a receiver and see where that gets me. Have all sorts of little changes that were done, and a few more I need to add before i build it

The FT Legacy V2 is based off of the Telemaster. You can build it as a single or twin motor

I think it might be hard trying to get a 5 kg plane off the ground lol. @Hondo76251 if I usually fly with a smaller battery, is using a bigger battery counted as extra weight?

Yes, the weight can be anything.

The idea is, you do a flight at the lightest weight possible, then add weight by any means you want and fly again. The difference in those two weights is your payload.

oh ok. I might take off some of the many many feet of accessory cables and the bombs then.

I'm gonna call that done. It's as good as its ever going to look. That is the first time the wings have been completely seated into position. Ailerons are wrapped in vinyl as well as the wing center and the wings are friction fit. I have it set up for flaperons as well. Hopefully I can give it a go this weekend.

With all the failed (not-quite-what-I-want/expect) versions in the bin, I'm left with the Prototype TimberScout that's been crashed many-a-time but still flies.

I think I'll just stick to using her then for the contest and see how she does!

It doesn't need struts for strength, but it's gonna have them for looks. still not sure what to make them out of.
