Can links inside posts be made a lighter color?

At least to my eyes or monitor maybe the links inside posts are almost as dark as the regular text and hard to differentiate. Some other lighter color maybe? This is a link hard to tell.

Also the date and post count above each post is not clearly visible. The date is important to me, since i need to know what has been posted recently/not-so-recently.

For me this one is harder to differentiate than the links.

You just change the CSS. For example, the dates above the posts...

<span class="postdate old">
<span class="date">10-30-2011&nbsp;<span class="time">04:46 AM</span></span>
</span>

You will find span.date or just .date in the style sheet, maybe .postdate .date etc., but it shouldn't be hard to do

The admins have theme capability on the forum, I think. It should just be a matter of changing a color. But IDK.

I remember seeing a few different color schemes... one was called "chad test" and was light blue instead of dark red...
