I wanted to ask if we can make the ft soarer a mid motor plane like ft explorer by using foam on the middle of wing to increase height of motor.

yes ...of course you can ,as long as you get the cg right the position of the motor can be where you require it to be !

The thrust vector should point through the center of gravity for stable flight. If the thrust vector does not point through the CG, you will get a rotation on the aircraft with the CG being the center of rotation. This is how aircraft get such small turn radii with vectoring engine nozzles. Many rockets use vectoring nozzles to steer based on the same principle.

EDIT: Added more explanation about why this matters.

That entirely depends on where you put the motor. I feel like this really needs a video or a bunch of diagrams to fully explain. I might be able to put something together later or others can jump in if they have the time and means :)

Hopefully these will help you get answers.
Here is a version of a power pod like what I used on my Super Questor. I found it at https://www.coxengineforum.com/t1717-bot-s-power-pod.

Here is another one I found online at https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=11620399&postcount=6 .

I'm sure it can be done, but why reinvent the wheal?
I'd recomend starting with the FT Explorer fuse and mod it to suite your needs. Use the Soarer wing on the Explorer fuse if you want.
