I want to put a camera on one of my planes and in the future am looking at using an FPV setup. So I have settled on using an FPV camera without goggles. Just not sure how to do a setup like this. I have checked on the internet but there seems to be nothing which is useful. Can I set it up so I can plug in a micro sd for the video files? Any help would be appreciated.

You can get cheap goggles for under $50 that work well.

I thought the Caddx stuff only worked with DJI Goggles. Is that not the case?

I actually wanted to pick up one of the Caddx Air units with the built in DVR before I got my Goggles, but I heard those had to have the Goggles to work.

Caddx makes all sorts of cameras, not just DJI compatibles.

Oh, BTW... contrary to what some of the comments on Amazon say, it does work with Windows. You will need to supply your own USB cable to plug it into a regular computer though. It only comes with a Micro-USB to Micro-USB but hey, its 2021 and who doesn't have a box of extra USB cables laying around somewhere?

This is what I use to record video: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YJGCVJS/?tag=lstir-20

I just plug it into a old android phone and hit record on an app. Works with any standard 5.8GHz transmitter. Its too laggy to fly off of (I think) but, as far as recording stuff to view later, it works like a charm.
