Im currently wanting to build a pylon out of carbon a hjk speedwings big monster style airplane out of carbon fiber and iv looked at a whole lot of carbon cloths now the question is..........is there a big difference in quality between cheap and expensive carbon fiber ?

The specs of what you're looking at will tell you whether or not something is suitable. The cheap cloth may work, but beware of chinesium specs. They don't always post correct specs.
Ok but first we need to figure out what type of cloth we need so.......we just have to figure out how thick the carbon fiber needs to be and how heavy or light Im probably gonna go with a Carbon Fiber Cloth 2 x 2 Twill Weave-3k/220g I think that should be good and ill add a layer of fiberglass on top.

Pulse jets, no. Too bloody expensive, noisy, and required two people to fly for my needs. Does solve your turbine issues. Used to be home made plans but they might still be custom made ready to buy. Back in the day, a babe bee .049 cost $5 blister pack, one of these was a months pay at $100

Yeah thats actually what iv been looking into I found some plans for a pulse engine I really like and with a slim air frame going 300 mph with a pulse engine is possible. Needing 2 people at the field is no problem for me and I do have some machines that I could use to cut the metal and make parts iv also been doing research on how these engines work so for hitting 300 mph a pulse engine might not be impractical.

Engine has to be cooled with potloads of air or your plane becomes a flaming thing. Modified low speed ramjet so faster you go the more the thrust you get. I think the upper limit for our size is sonic, but maybe buzz jets during WW2 could break the sound barrier. Not my pay grade

hmm yeah I guess thats one issue but its better then spending like 1-2k on a jet turbine I bet I can get a pulse engine made for about 200-500 dollars so I think that might be the route I wanna go with.

I've seen some fiberglass airplanes hit some serious speeds like 300 mph as well so if a fiberglass airplane can also get u to those speeds why are all these pylons made out of carbon ?

Probably because Carbon is lighter and stronger, as well as more heat resistant.
True maybe thats the reason I've barley seen fiber glass bieng used in any high speed airplane......but im personally gonna go with carbon not because its lighter and stronger its cause I like how carbon looks.
