Not necessarily...@Mr man is pretty good at flying buit he only flies LOS...Me, I am not as experienced flying, but am not bad flying FPV...With FPV drone you aren't usually going 200-300mph and They have RTH a lot of times so if something goes wrong...
Yup, LOS all day for me.

U like to fly 3d aswell ? I have been looking to buy a 3d rc plane do u have any recommendations ?
I fly an Ultimate 3d, and it is a great plane. Can do everything I want it to. But that’s all I’ve ever known…..

‘’If you want a foamboard 3d plane. The FT Edge or My Extra 300 are the best bets.

Well cant u say the same thing about fpv drones ? What if ur fpv signal dies on ur fpv drone ? And most people doing something like this have experience wit airplanes and probably have experience with fpv.
All the latest stuff goes Into a "park" mode as opposed to the old days where if you were LUCKY, LOS caused continued flight into an uncontrolled crash typically against a brick wall (assuming it was stable to begin with) that guaranteed instant spontaneous disassembly. Betcha you don't set up your plane for a large diameter circling gentle glide down.

True, but losing signal at 60mph is a whole lot different than 300mph….

Ill look into my options but I was thinking about maybe a foam airplane that I can maybe fly at a park or in my backyard.
