All the latest stuff goes Into a "park" mode as opposed to the old days where if you were LUCKY, LOS caused continued flight into an uncontrolled crash typically against a brick wall (assuming it was stable to begin with) that guaranteed instant spontaneous disassembly. Betcha you don't set up your plane for a large diameter circling gentle glide down.
Well thank god I dont have to deal with that sort of stuff.

Ill look into my options but I was thinking about maybe a foam airplane that I can maybe fly at a park or in my backyard.
If you find the right model and want to do 3 D stuff, look for a bipe. This one I found on RCGroups and even in the wind, it's stable and can do a number of tricks. Better than any large one. It all comes down to the design, right lengths, location of r/a/e. etc. To do this stuff, it is not your radio(most are the same), but how you fly.

True getting a better radio wont make u a better pilot. And there is no pic there.

Most of those cheap fpv sets aren't that great.
But they are better than nothing.....
This is what I like to use and it works great! :)

Not fancy but it works great and I can't ask more out of it! (I don't think you can get much better and it cost me under $150)[/URL]

True something is better then nothing and the googles at the bottom are very popular for some reason everyone on a budget gets these and they seem to work pretty great as well.

Actually they are pretty hard to find in the US....SpeedyFPV used to carry them at a very good price ($57) but since the tariffs they don't carry them...
