CHANNEL SWITCHING TECHNOLOGY

Picked up a Propel Quark Toy Quad from Brookstone for $40.
It is an amazing little quad, more like a Hobby Grade if you ask me!
It has digital trims, auto flip, speed modes for different experience levels, but one thing that caught my eye is that YOU CAN DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANT TO FLY IT IN 3 CHANNEL CONTROL OR 4 CHANNEL CONTROL.
It comes with a 4 CH transmitter, like the kind you see in the Pico QX RTF package.
On the top of the TX, those 2 small buttons in the middle are the channel switchers.
It's a Mode 2 TX, PhotoBooth on iMac takes Mirror Pics.

Two things,
1. How do you fly a quad 3 channels, no roll?
2. Cool! That is the first non-programmable TX I've seen that can do that.

it could be a proprietary tx for both 3ch plane and 4ch quad, enables you to fly any of them with one tx.
would make good business sense for the company i suppose.
