Cheap Cutting Mat

Hey guys, I'm new to scratch builds so I dont have a lot of equipment. I was cutting on cardboard boxes, but my blades were catching on the cardboard and skipping. I just picked up this medium density fiberboard at Home Depot for $4
It's awesome! I can even stick pins in it for holding down templates and balsa builds.

Look for self healing cutting mats on Amazon. They have a bunch and they are pretty inexpensive too. That's where I got mine and I love it.

I will definitely check that out! I'm trying stock up on lots of supplies so I'll have enough equipment to work with a couple friends.
