Help! Choosing the right motor, battery and esc

A good tip which I use a lot is buy some alloy wheel balance weights. These are used to balance alloy whels on cars when you get new tyres fitted. They come in strips and have 3m tape on the back so they can be stuck to the rims or inside the nose of your model.
I use them to add extra nose weight, you can buy them off Ebay

Each strip comes in sections, so you can select how much individual weight you want to add.

Since I do a lot of fishing I have lead sinkers around and I use hot glue to glue them in place, just a cheaper option. If I need a specific shape I will take tin foil make the shape and melt the amount of lead weight I need in the tin foil using a propane torch.
