Connecting Batteries in series

I want to ask about connecting battery in series

I have

• 3cell 1300mAh 45-90c discharge
• 2cell 1300mAh 30C discharge

I want a 5 cell battery

Can i connect the batteries together (i am a little worried about the discharge rates)

Hmm, yeah, a little dicey, as the internal resistance of the higher C rated battery is significantly lower and therefore it'll supply power more rapidly and probably drain quicker. These packs will also likely have different voltage sags under load so would affect your overall voltage.

Make sure to connect in series - and it will be fine.
Never discharge more than the lowest rating.
Be aware that the 1300 mAh could be a little off if the batteries are from different suppliers.
Dont use full capacity or connect supervision (cell alarm) for each battery to be sure not to discharge more than allowed.
