CORELDRAW PROBLEM!

This is for your "resident" Coreldraw guy. Have been using cd9, and recently it stopped working. When I try to open cd9 I get several dialog boxes stating that several config files are corrupt, and that it will use default config files instead. I click OK and the program shuts down. I have tried reinstalling with no success. I have a sneaky suspicion that a win10 or HP update may be the culprit, but I just don't know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
