Hey everyone!
I've been flying for about 15 years at this point, I've been following flite test since the start with an original tini trainer being my 3rd plane. I'M from Australia and we don't have access to to the same foam board so I've been building using coreflute for many, many designs, from my own off the top of my head, too old coreflute designs, to modifying flite test designs to make them work. So I thought I would share some of my old designs and new ones as I make more! To name a few that i have pictures for, I've made flat plate flying wings, a extra large and a normal corrowot, an FT Bloody wonder, FT Super Bee and even a Tini Trainer which is now becoming a massive club build for my local RC Flying club.

They all look good! Coreflute/corroplast might be a good building material for combat.

Yeah they're great for combat, alot stronger than foam board making it more resilient to damage as well as being able to handle bigger power plants better. That's what I mostly use my flat plate wings for. Take all of half hour to build a whole new aircraft for $10 aud

Wanting to make your coroplast planes look better and building tips this thread can be a big help for ideas.

Yeah Ive seen that since the thread was started, and its not a bad post to begin with. Id just keep any eye out though as a lot of there ideas can tend to be a little heavy and over engineered. a lot of the times, especially when working with coreflute, the simplest solution is the best

Main issue I had was gluing, solved by 3 inch wide bi-weave string tape.
Yeah i get that. But actually the best way to glue coreflute is the use superglue. The chemical bonds react really strongly with the plastic and the joints are actually much stronger that the material itself. Only tricky one is butt joins or folded corners that need have some rigidity. for those the best option is putting a little patch either in the inside corner or across the joint and still using superglue

yeah 100%, make sure to show off the benefits of coreflute for me haha, for a long time ive been wanting to get flitetest to explore coreflute with me, but being in Australia makes it a little hard to do anything with them in person haha. I can post some plans for you if you're keen for my combat wing I use. I even reinforce the leading edge with light Tas Oak dowel to make them extra durable

Out in the bush, stuff is hard to find. Currently in Sydney, everything I could ever want is a short tram trip away. L3 is odd, but Metro goes everywhere. What do you all use for home depot hardware?
