Crazy Lidl RC Stratocruiser maiden. Success or Disaster?

Finally got a chance in between the gales and never ending rain to maiden my wide-bodied Lidl cheap foamie RC Stratocruiser. Challenging because the flying field was a smamp, but also not least because I hadn't set rates and expo correctly yet on this! Silly boy. It'll be even better next time.

Oh  that stratocruiser, not the ugly one, or the super constellation.

Must have been a not trademarked name long ago.

Tail heavy? Maybe. Its also fast and short coupled with big surfaces (relatively) no close by slow flight to determine which was what.

Yes, I 'd made the rear of the fusi as long as I could when attaching to the wing, but it is still a bit short and makes it pitchy. I think next flight with better trimming and a bit more expo will be better. Plus most of my other builds have inboard ailerons and it was a big lesson to me that outboard needs far smaller throws.

Just noticed I spelled swamp smamp, but I think people got the idea!

Some times you want twitchy, BUT generally not the first flight. Back in the day dual rates were the big thing. You could sucker someone in combat by running low rate then switching.
