Crosshair and Helical Antenna

Hey Gang

I am interested in extending the range of my FPV system. I have been doing some research and have seen some impressive results using Crosshair and Helical Antenna. Has anyone attempted to build either of these or found a good DIY site for a beginner?

Frequency (MHz): 5945

Cross Length (mm): 74.34146341

Reflector (mm): 50.12494533
Forma (85% mm): 13.07384357

I am still confused about connections and the match.

Can you please post your complete setup with links? I assume it is 5.8GHz but I can't seem to find a complete kit for that frequency on HobbyKing.

The breakup was due to the EasyCap. My monitor in contrast was perfect.
