Cutting foamboard "Dusty" with a laser?

Hi, is it possible to cut 5 mm foamboard with a laser machine. I am going to use our school machine for the 1.5 mm plywood firewall but was wondering if it could cut the entire plane.

We have Corel draw and Adobe Illustrator which both open the PDF fine.

I don't see why not since they use a laser for cutting all the kits.

The only problem I had, was that the laser was too powerful for the 50% scorecuts. Even at 1% power and max speed, it would cut all the way through, so I ended up doing those by hand instead.
