Yes The extra D you added makes the ESC work harder with swapping from power to brake really fast. That is the whole point at least with Kiss to keep D as close to 10 as possible I assume.

When I ran my Versa copter I went with everyone saying bump D to smooth out the wobbles. To much D and you can actually puff a battery. When I saw Skitzo's tune method and he broke it down to getting P as tight as possible with as little D as you can to tune Everything ran so much cooler. In fact after two attempts on both the Versa and now the Alien I was able to go from 5x4x3 props to 5x4.5x3 and run cooler then it ever has when using the bump D method. With temps below 70 degrees my motors actually feel colder then ambient air right after landing on a high Acro flight.

BTW do you have a YT page?

I have the little grey one 3rd from the start of the list. I got mine last year when they were only 20 dollars. Not bad for the FPV part. For the 720p 60 fps videos I use a 50 dollar vivitar action camera from Wal- Mart. That does the trick until I can afford the go pro hero session I want to get eventually.

Those two didn't cut into the budget too badly and the high res 60 fps was worth every penny for tuning purposes.

Oh and remembering how small this thing is.. I started with this on my Walkera runner. This is 720p 30 fps but light and VERY small. I still use it for things.

Spent the solstice beating the crap out of my Blade 150...Ended up replacing the screws in all 4 standoffs with longer ones because the shorter ones stripped out in the crashes. I also lost my battery monitor somewhere in my yard. knowing my luck I'll find it with the lawn mower. The time to fly is getting short, and will be short for the next few months...

Happy Flying all.
