DC3/C47 2 meters / 6,5 foot twin electric plane

Thank you guys for your comments, i really appreciate your attention.

Yesterday i realized, that my enginenacells are about 4cm (1,6 inch) to large in diameter.
I´ll probabely build them again like Archimedian.

This is how they look like.

But this is how they should look like.

RIP enginenacell. :(

Therefor i need the green stuff i used for the fuselage.
But today is Sunday so i have to by them on Monday.
Today i´ll sand the whole fuselage so i´ll be able to cover the fuselage with shrinking foil.
That will give me a nice sueface and i already tested different types of shrinking foil.
The good thing about this stuff is, that if there is a little scrach in the surface the shrinking foil shrinks together and hides this scrach.

This is made with a heatgun.
Next to the yellow point, there is a step in the material under the foil so it folds a bit but with a bit of sanding it´s ok.

This is made with a smoothing iron.
It´s more pressed to the rough material under it so it hasn´t got a good surface.

Next thing would be the painting (i´ll paint it after the maiden)

This is how i want it to look like.
The big surfaces will be colored by the foil but i have to smooth the edges between green and white.
I´m thinking about doind this with a spray can but that would be to smooth!

What is your opinion? How can i paint it like in the pictures?

Thank you for your attention!

The whole thing is build out of wood and Depron.
This isn´t finished yet already but i hope it´ll turn out like in the computer.

The holes you can see here are first to save weight but mainly they are there to allow the air to blow through the nacell and cool down the motor and the ESC.

This is the mount for the landinggear.

First i build my landinggear in SkechUp and placed it into the rest of the model.
I made two landinggears on in the up- and one in the down-position.

How can i delete this picture at the end?!?!?

have you tried editing the post and then hitting "attachments"(the paper clip in the top row of command icons) then a new window should open up. from there remove the picture from that bottom box.

Wow, nice designs, also I still can't believe that you are putting working cowl flaps on this, it's incredible.
