Received the Hawker Hurricane 25e BNF today. Waiting for the moderator to approve and should be posted! Very nice plane and easy build!

Argh.

Do I want a balsa P40 ARF? Do I want the Hurricane PNP? Neither one really lights me on fire but the deals are compelling. The hurricane I could part out and still be ahead and the P40 might be a nice step up into balsa.

Here is the thing about the Hurricane, it has the same motor/ESC that the Carbon Z Yak 54 has in it. The Hurricane comes with a 3 cell 3200 and the Yak with a 4 cell 3000. If something happens to my Yak, I have spare parts for it at 139... I know the motor and ESC costs more than that so I figured why not!

The P40 does look nice, nut nothing but airframe. I may get depending on how long its on sale!

Bah I have a motor out of a Yak a flying buddy crashed, and might be able to get a hurricane pnp locally, but I am teetering on paypal'ing a warhawk right now and should refrain, but it's also an opportunity to get a balsa bird in the hangar.

Not really a deal of the day but saw this on Gizmodo and thought here is another HD cam that can be used o a plane and cheaper than a GoPro... Looks like the quality is pretty good though. For $100 not bad...
