Do you face any problems with your laser cutter?

I was just curious about what kind of problems or challenges you face with your current laser cutter (eg. workspace size, portability, ease of use, laser issues, etc). I want to know more about how other people use their machines and what hinders you!

A bigger cutter with high power, air assist, awesome filtration, at a low price would be great.

too big, too heavy, awkward to move, difficult to learn and more difficult to operate, weak laser, i could go on and on...

Sort of the opposite for me. I have a little 300mmx180mm unit and it lacks power cannot cut a lot of the parts I would want. It also produces a bit of smoke so you need good ventilation. Still good for balsa/ply planes though. I also occasionally have run into issues with it setting the balsa on fire so I need to constantly babysit it during what can be 6 hour runs (since it also needs to go slow and sometimes perform the cut multiple times since it it isn't strong enough). The frustration with how time intensive it could be was a big part of why I switched to 3D printing.
